Territory Lead

Job Location: Denver

The Territory Lead works out of our Denver office and is responsible for sales of our software and services to licensed cannabis businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, networking events, etc.
  • Schedule appointments
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demos, both in-person and remote
  • Initiate trials by setting up new accounts, build relationships through trials, complete the hand-off to Client Engagement at the end of trials

Skills

  • Independently manage a sales funnel
  • Ability to prospect, negotiate and close accounts in a timely manner
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with G Suite and associated applications
  • Proficient with standard CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce, HubSpot, Streak, etc.)

Required/Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong track record of B2B sales
  • Strong record of software sales, preferably SaaS
  • Experience in cannabis, regulatory compliance, startups a plus
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • 1-2 years experience in the cannabis industry preferred
