The Territory Lead works out of our Denver office and is responsible for sales of our software and services to licensed cannabis businesses.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, networking events, etc.
- Schedule appointments
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demos, both in-person and remote
- Initiate trials by setting up new accounts, build relationships through trials, complete the hand-off to Client Engagement at the end of trials
Skills
- Independently manage a sales funnel
- Ability to prospect, negotiate and close accounts in a timely manner
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with G Suite and associated applications
- Proficient with standard CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce, HubSpot, Streak, etc.)
Required/Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong track record of B2B sales
- Strong record of software sales, preferably SaaS
- Experience in cannabis, regulatory compliance, startups a plus
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time
- Must be able to pass a background check
- 1-2 years experience in the cannabis industry preferred
