Denver – February 27th, 2020 – Simplifya, the leading provider of regulatory and operational compliance software for the cannabis industry, announced today that the Company has appointed veteran sales and finance executive Scott Daly, to the role of Chief Revenue Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Mr. Daly will be responsible for driving innovation and unlocking future growth opportunities at Simplifya.

Mr. Daly brings to Simplifya more than 30 years of sales experience and has a background in direct and channel business development, strategic planning, operational processes, financial forecasting, budgeting, expense control and profit generation. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Client Solutions for MJ Freeway (now Akerna), a provider of SaaS-based supply chain software solutions, where he was responsible for growing and leading the sales and customer success teams. Additionally, he was instrumental in growing the company’s revenue by over 50 percent.

Prior to MJ Freeway, Mr. Daly served in several senior leadership positions, including as the Vice President of Sales for FiveStars, a customer loyalty SaaS provider to small businesses; as the Vice President of Sales and Chief Operating Officer for LeaderQuest, a provider of IT training and certification programs.
Mr. Daly earned his BBA degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
